Materialer / Materials
This list of materials is on that I have compiled from online sources and from my own experience to help learn Danish. You don't necessarily need to purchase a book, but it would help because you may want to move at a faster pace than this site progresses. A Danish-English dictionary, however, is quite crucial! I'd suggest finding one of those within the first few months of learning!
(Note: if your native language is not English, you may find books/dictionaries in your Native Language, but I believe English is one of the most common other than, possibly, German or another Scandinavian language.)

BøgerBelow is a list of books for learning Danish (click the book titles to go to sites):
These two Danish books are written from the aspect of English language rules. If you are not a native English speaker, you may want to find a book written from the point-of-view from your native language, if you can. However, no matter which book you decide to purchase, make sure that you purchase something with either CDs or cassettes. Danish pronunciation can be a killer for some, but with practice and lots of listening (music, interviews, movies, etc.), the pronunciation actually isn't all that bad.

OrdbøgerBelow is a list of English-Danish, Danish-English dictionaries (click the book titles to go to sites):
A dictionary is a necessity in learning a foreign language. These two are excellent examples of dictionaries for learning Danish. I have linked them to a website to purchase them, but you may find them more affordably on other sites or in a bookstore. It's all about searching for the one that suits you
